UD is going to Oakland to kick off the weekend right!!! That's right... Oakland's First Friday is back after taking month off! For those who have never heard of this event, it is a BIG street fair that happens on the first Friday of each month, and the goal is to bring together a bunch of uniquely talented street performers and their audience. Music, food trucks, workshops, dancing, art, shows... are all on the menu!

 This month Oakland is celebrating the return of First Fridays! This event was on hiatus for the first quarter of 2024 due to funding issues, BUT WE BACK!!! For those who have never heard of this event, it is a street fair that happens every Friday and the goal is to bring together a bunch of uniquely talented street performers, artists, and local craftsmen. There's going to be art, music, food, and people dancing in the streets.

What to Expect: 

We will meet up for a drink at one of Oakland's awesome lounge bars to start the evening. Enjoy a refreshing beer or even treat yourself to a Happy Hour cocktail while surrounded by great company :) 

You, your UD friends and your awesome host will wander along the streets of Oakland and enjoy the delicious food & drinks, great entertainment and check out the little local artist booths. This area is know for it's art galleries and it's local small businesses, there is some really nice stuff ;)

Attire: It's a funky-fun street fair, so express yourself! If you feel like it, get your flashy crazy outfit on!!!
