Explore Portland's icons, soak up the sights of the Columbia River Gorge (one of the best scenic drives in the west), hike to more than 10 Instagrammable waterfalls, unwind with a mineral hot spring soak, taste some of Oregon's famous wines and beers, and relax in luxury accommodations every night with your favorite UD friends.

- Travel insurance (highly recommended!)

WHAT TO BRING:
- No more than 2 bags per person - 1 carry on/1 suitcase
- Hiking clothes and boots
- recommended to bring micro spikes and hiking poles if you have them
- Quality rain jacket (it rains a lot in the Pacific Northwest - hence why all the waterfalls ??)
- Wool socks to help keep your feet warm if they get wet
- Comfortable city walking shoes
- Cameras, tripods, etc.
- Swimsuit for hot tub and hot springs
- Personal toiletries + gear
LODGING
PORTLAND
We'll be staying at one of Portland's coolest hotels, complete with vintage decor, swanky bar and game lounge, fitness center, and wine tasting cellar. The hotel is located right downtown and is very easy to get to from the Portland International Airport.
Here are some airport transfer options:
- MAX Red Line (public transit): $2.50 / 40 min / stops only 2 blocks from the hotel
- Uber: ~$40 / 20-30 min
- Lyft: ~$30 / 20-30 min
COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE
We've booked an absolutely stunning private home right on the edge of the Columbia River Gorge with incredible sweeping views, private large hot tub, outdoor fire pit, covered patio, indoor fireplace, and plenty of relaxing places to chill and socialize.
Sharing rooms and/or beds will be required for this trip. Room assignments will be provided closer to the trip dates. Please leave a note in your registration comments or message you host if you have a request to room with another member.

ITINERARY
DAY 1 | Thur May 02
Arrive in Portland
- Arrive any time during the day
- Check in to the hotel to drop off gear
- Depending on when you arrive, you can plan to meet up with the group in the city, or hang out at the hotel.
- Meet up with the group downtown
- Let your host know when you plan to arrive so we can try to make meeting up easy!

DAY 2 | Fri May 03
Latourell Falls, Multnomah Falls, + Columbia River Gorge
- Breakfast and coffee in Portland (9am)
- Check-out of hotel & load up in rental cars (10am)
- Begin the gorgeous drive through the Columbia River Gorge
- Scenic overlook at Vista House
- Quick walk and snack break to Bridal Veil Falls
- Hike Latrourell Falls
- 2 mi out-and-back

- Lunch underneath the famous Multnomah Falls in a historic lodge from the 1920s (1pm)
- Hike Wahkeena Falls Loop Trail - includes 5 waterfalls! (2pm-6pm)
- 5.1 mil loop
- moderate w/ 1,600 ft elevation gain
- Bridge of the Gods (6:30pm)
- Settle in to our stunning Airbnb for dinner, hot tub relaxing, games, and an evening fire (7pm)
DAY 3 | Sat May 04
3 Northern Falls + Hot Springs Resort
- Hot breakfast at the cabin before leaving for the day's adventures (10am)
- Hike Pool of the Winds Falls (10:30am)
- 2.1 mi out-and-back

- Walk to Horsetail and Ponytail Falls (12pm)
Lunch at Ponytail Falls
- Hike Wahclella Falls (2pm)
- Brewery Happy Hour in Carson or back to Airbnb to relax for the rest of the day (4pm)
- Carson Springs Hot Spring (5:30-6:30pm)
- Fireside sunset dinner and chill
DAY 4 | Sun May 05
Winery w/ lunch + Goodbyes
- Coffee, quick breakfast, check out, and hit the road (10am)
- Rowena Crest Viewpoint (11am)
- Lunch at a winery in Hood River (12pm)
- Back to Portland Airport (arrive around 2:30pm)

- The remaining balance will be automatically charged to your card on file 3 weeks before the event
