No prior experience is required and this is a beginners friendly event!
About the Shooting Range and Sporting Clays:
Sporting Clays is a clay target game designed to replicate every conceivable shot encountered in field shooting. The course is situated in natural surroundings and includes 20 stations with shooters moving from one station to the next. Sometimes the targets will fly away from you and other times they might float up and toward you. On a Sporting Clays course, shooters are presented with a wide variety of targets that simulate the flight path of different game species. Don't worry, we will only be shooting at clay targets.
What to Expect:
We're going to one of the few sporting clay ranges in the Bay Area. You will be put into small groups and each of you will a shoot a number of targets, usually 3-6 per person per station. Scoring is easy - each target equals one point, the shooter with the most points wins! Every shooting station is connected along a course trail. Think of it kind of like golf, but with a shotgun.
Although you do not have to have the experience to go to a sporting range, it is required that you be with someone experienced...and now you have an opportunity to do that! We're arranging everything for you!
We'll begin our day with a brief lesson followed by a couple of hours of enjoying the full experience of Sporting Clays and putting your skill to the test!

Includes:
- Shotgun rental
- Ammo (we supply the first box of ammo, if you choose to shoot a second box of ammo this is optional and not included).

- Experienced marksman knowledgeable and comfortable with the safety and handling of a shotgun
- Tips from our experienced shooter on proper safety and shooting techniques so you can successfully break that target
What you need to bring:
- Dress like you're going on a day hike
- You'll need comfortable closed toed shoes for walking on gravel and uneven terrain
- Eye protection is required on the range. Sunglasses and clear eyeglasses are sufficient eye protection. You MUST make sure to bring eye protection with you as it is not included in the price. If you forget it, you'll need to purchase it at the pro shop.
- Bring a warm layer in case it gets cold
- A refillable water bottle
