Urban Diversion is celebrating its sixth year as the Bay Area’s fastest growing and most successful adventures and activities social club. We are a members-based activities club, with over 700 members.

The essence of our club is to create great experiences for our members; we pride ourselves on our excellent reputation for service and innovative events as well as creating a fun-loving community where everyone is warmly welcomed to each and every event they attend.

We’re Unique! Urban Diversion is a professionally organized social activities club with a community of active, friendly, and committed members. Our events are hosted by our professional trained fun staff, unlike other free social clubs who rely on volunteers.

We pride ourselves on our variety of events, but we also offer a large community environment. We look specifically for friendly, outgoing, sociable people who will bond well with other like-minded people. Because of the screening process, Urban Diversion has a community like no other. Finally, Urban Diversion is the only social activities club in the Bay Area to have its own Clubhouse and Tahoe Cabins.

Activities and Events - Urban Diversion is known throughout the Bay Area for consistently hosting fun-filled events. The first thing everyone talks about is our wide variety of exciting activities (40-50 every month). Events range from international travel to extreme sports, from parties to hikes and everything in-between. These adventures and activities are just the start of what Urban Diversion has to offer you.

Unlike other clubs, Urban Diversion does not specialize in one specific activity type (i.e. hiking or running). Because of this, our members often become a jack of all traits. So remember, when you’re trying something for the first time, it is likely to be the first time for other members. We are renowned for our Signature Events; some of which include: Mischief Mayhem, Rafting, Pirate Ship Party, Limousine Scavenger Hunt, Camp Out, and Hot Summer Nights. Each event has an experienced host who helps to ensure everything runs smoothly and who also acts as a central point of contact.

Our Members – Our members are friendly, outgoing, sociable individuals who have a passion for life! Primarily aged in their 20s, 30s and 40s, our members join for a variety of reasons, including:

• Active, busy, working professionals who don’t have the time to organize their social life.
• They are looking to get out and do more
• They recently relocated to San Francisco or the bay area
• Locals who making changes expand their social network

Clubhouse & Tahoe Cabins - Unlike any other club of this type, Urban Diversion has its own unique clubhouse in the heart of San Francisco... If you think of the community as your family, you can think of the clubhouse as your home....we just converted your room into a lounge with a projection TV, foosball table, sofas, bar, patio deck and barbeque, complete with an amazing downtown location. It’s a great place to go before or after events or just hang out with Urban Diversion friends.
