Backpacking Tuolumne Meadows
Three sunny days with temps in the 90's had this group of 15 in great spirits. From our much sought after and comfortable campsite at Tuolumne Meadows we set out each day on an exciting adventure. Saturday found us making the 7 mile round trip to the beautiful Cathedral Lakes. Lounging, swimming, and exploring were the words of the day. Sunday we split into a lounging group and a Cloud's Rest summit group. Everyone had a great day but the Clouds Resters all agreed the hike was one of the most beautiful hikes ever. Monday found us rock climbing before heading home. If you missed this one, don't worry, we'll do it again next year!
Mamma Mia Dinner!
With a hearty appetite and true Italian spirit, South Bay members celebrated Tuesday night with vibrant Italian food in an eclectic vintage setting.
Bucca de Beppos was the place, and we brought the fun. We talked and laughed the night away all the while indulging in our favorite family style dishes from both Northern and Southern Italy.
Labor Day Picnic
Warm sunshine, 40+ members, a great BBQ, plenty of sun, the setting, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the San Francisco Bay.... now that is a perfect day!

Today we're going to the driving range for some practice on our chipping, putting and driving. This is no ordinary range either, it is a double-deck lighted range featuring 60 stalls. After we've finished our best Tiger impersonation, we will head on over to the golf course's bar and grill for a bite to eat as well as some much needed refreshments. |

Mission Mischief Mayhem: Scavenger Hunt Pub Crawl Sign up for an evening of laughter and craziness as you wear a tshirt with 10 tasks that must be completed. Last year we hit up Union Square and it was one of the best events of the summer. This year, onto the Mission! In groups, we'll be causing fun-loving mayhem while checking off the tasks on our tshirts. We'll then reconvene at a night spot to dance the night away. |
