We hope all of you have a great Turkey Day. For those of you staying local, we are having a Thanksgiving Pot Luck at the Urban Diversion Clubhouse. We're making the turkey, you bring the sides. Don't spend Turkey Day alone... come join your Urban Diversion friends!
For a little added fun, we will be going out Thanksgiving Eve (Wednesday) for a casual bar hop through the Marina. Believe it or not, Turkey's Eve is the biggest bar night of the year! So join us for a few drinks before we eat ourselves silly the following day.
NYE PARTY ANNOUNCED - CASINO ROYAL!!!
2 floors of fun for this final night of 2008... One dance floor and one Casino floor. Gamble your play-money for a chance to win great prizes. Enjoy a great DJ and an open bar. Most city parties are over $100 if not over $200. Early registration for our NYE is only $39 for members and $49 for non-members. Check out the full event description on our events calendar!
We always encourage our members to share their skills, hobbies and interests with the club and this December we have a special event set up. One of our members is a very talented potter and he has agreed to open up his Oakland studio to us!
For those of you who know Chris, you may have already seen some of his amazing pieces. For this holiday season, he will be offering a beginner class so that you can make your very own pottery. You will get a hands-on learning experience as Chris teaches us the tricks of the trade. You can even take your finished piece home or give it as a gift!
After the lessons, Chris will be having a small get-together where you can watch him in action and have the chance to purchase some of his own personal works. Ongoing lessons are also available. Be sure to check it out!
Popular Question from Members How many activities do you plan and host each month?
Currently we plan over 40 different activities every month. As our membership grows, we will continue to expand the number of activities to give you even more choices.
How many activities can I do each month?
It depends on your level of membership. If you are a Gold Member, you can go to all of them. Silver members can attend 8 events (Bronze members can attend 4 events) per month. Any evnet that is Open to the Public is not considered toward your event count..

Last Week Happy Hour in Downtown Palo Alto- Tuesday, Nov. 18th Members headed to Historic Downtown Palo Alto for a Happy Hour while enjoying great drinks, food and a great bunch of friends.
This Week Trampoline Dodgeball- Sunday Nov. 30th
Take the thrill of dodgeball and place it on a court of wall to wall trampolines and you have the best version of dodgeball you may ever play. We've got the court and the balls, all we need is an amazing Urban Diversion Team to crush the opponents!
