ANNOUNCEMENT - Urban Diversion has TWO NEW SKI CABINS! - This year's we have vastly improved our ski cabins and added a lot more room. Our new South Shore Ski cabin is huge, sleeping over 20 people and having 3+ living rooms, a HOT TUB, pool table and an unbeatable location on an acre of land by the Tahoe keys and Heavenly. Details on the new North Shore cabin are coming soon.
Ski Cabin Membership - We have a *limited* amount of ski season cabin memberships! With Urban Diversion's unique ski cabin membership, you get any-time access to BOTH ski cabins for the entire season, for as little as $680+ registration fee!! That works out to as little as $170/Month! That is more than it costs to rent a hotel room for a night...on the remote chance you can find one. To tell you how hot these memberships are, we have already had 1/3 of the spots taken!

Two Ski Passes for one - As you know, the best option for skiing Tahoe is to get a Season Ski Pass from one of the resorts. Urban Diversion has gotten an amazing offer for just that. We are gathering a group of 15 members/non-members together to get the Double-Whammy season pass for $100 less than you can get directly from them! This pass gets you Northstar and Sierra at Tahoe access for the entire season!

Why was Urban Diversion started?
Urban Diversion was started because there was not a social activities club in the Bay Area that offered both community and a wide-variety of exciting activities at a reasonable price. One of the founders, Lance, had previously been a member of Mile High Adventures and Entertainment. He enjoyed the group, but since they closed in 1999, he could not find anything to replace them. Together, with his close friends Chris and Kumi, he launched Urban Diversion, which follows many of the successes of MHAE (especially the wide-ranging variety and mix of events), and then improved on the concept. The two biggest differences? Urban Diversion has no expensive up front fee – members can join month to month, and most importantly Urban Diversion has it’s own beautiful downtown clubhouse, the only social adventures club in the Bay Area that can make this claim. |

Ice Skating with Sharks- Tuesday September 9
Members traveled to San Jose in the South Bay last week to test out their skills at the facility where the San Jose Sharks practice. Everyone had a great time and night of skating, and suggested we do curling lessons. If you would like to see curling on our calendar voice your opinion ans send us feedback.

Gone Country Dancing- Friday September 19
Country Dancing Update (This Friday): This event mistakenly had listed 7:00pm.. the new time is...9:00pm. Your host will be providing Minnesota style country and line dance lessons, Yeeeehaaaa! And your $3 cover charge will go toward your mandatory ride on the Bull!! ....I've seen people fall asleep and slide off at the extremely slowest setting... so no excuses! |
