Q. What is the difference between a Master Host and UD Staff Host?

A.  Every UD event has a host whose role is to introduce you to the rest of the group and make you feel comfortable.  A Master Host is someone who organizes and hosts three events a month. A UD Staff host plans and runs anywhere from 8-12 events a month.

Last week at UD:kayak

We woke up with the sun on Sunday for Corey’s fabulous kayaking trip in Tomales Bay in Point Reyes. With beautiful and distinctive features to the surrounding land and 100's of different species of wildlife, members discovered wild treasures from jellyfish to leopard sharks.

Quotes of the Week:

Jellyfish Kayaking: “Well organized with a great host. I would sign up for another kayak outing.”- Jenn

Exploratorium Tactile Dome: “It was brilliant” – Erika

Winchester Mystery House :" I grew up in Santa Clara but had never been to the WMH so it was a great excuse to join others". - Maeve

Who are those two new guys??lance

This was a popular question last week at a few events.... There were these two clean shaven short haired guys running some UD events and no-one could work out who they were. Turns out they were our very own Corey and Lance- they had just cut their hair and had a shave so no-one recognised them!

Next week at UD

Costa Rica is only 4 days away!  It’s your last chance to join Lance and Urban Diversion for a week of adventure: hike, horseback ride, zip and surf along with enjoying great food, exotic drinks, a pool, sea, sand and on-site spa. Sun. Feb 24 - Sun. Mar 2, 2008 Click here for all the info

Give back to the community: Urban Diversion volunteers at the San Francisco Food Bank Tuesday, February 26, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Don’t miss this chance to help out after work.
